After spending several years trying trying to find a new vocation and passion, I came across Reflexology. I was first introduced to Reflexology over 30 years ago but now I was in a position to follow the dream...
After plenty of research I trained with the Cotswold Academy in Cirencester. Annette had recently won Reflexology trainer of the Year and it was obvious why. I started my course in March 2020 and after struggling with the COVID shutdown I qualified in March 2021. Andy Lord Reflexology began trading in April 2021.
ANDY LORD
Association of Reflexologists (AOR)
Having membership with the AOR demonstrates that a Reflexologist has met the strictest standards of Reflexology practice, is fully insured and is committed to the continual development of their skills and knowledge.
Fulfilling a long-term ambition, my volunteering with LOROS began on 10th June 2022. Having experienced firsthand the destruction cancer can cause a family, one of the reasons I trained and qualified as a reflexologist was to become a volunteer at LOROS with a superpower…
I provide short treatments for day therapy patients every Wednesday, under the supervision and guidance of the Complementary Therapy Team.
Over the last two years, I have met the most amazing people, with everyone I treat sharing stories and experiences that are therapeutic to both the patient and the therapist.
Every year, they care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland, and I feel privileged to support them in delivering free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their families, and carers.
Together with everyone at LOROS, I provide care that is special and unique to each individual.
